God said this morning: “In 3 days, I will bring my people into the Promise!”
Yesterday, I shared the following during the Bible study: “God’s people keep hearing Joshua chapter 1: ‘Be strong and courageous. Be strong and courageous. You will go before the children of Israel. You will bring them into the promise.’ Why do we keep hearing this Scripture? Because God is saying it to us. He’s saying it to you, ‘Be strong and courageous. You will lead God’s people into promises,’ but you’ve got to obey His Word. Don’t fear man. Don’t fear the enemy. Obey the Word of God. Walk in faith. Walk in obedience and know that you already have the victory.”
Today, God gave me Joshua chapter 1 as a confirmation of the Word He shared through me yesterday. However, He specifically added today,
“Go through the camp and tell the people, ‘Get your provisions ready. Three days from now you will cross the Jordan here to go in and take possession of the land the LORD your God is giving you for your own.’”
This is Joshua 1:11. God is telling us that our consecration on Saturday and Passover observances will lead us directly into His promises, which will begin 3 days from now! What’s 3 days from today? Firstfruits, aka Resurrection Sunday! On the day of Firstfruits, we will begin to see God bringing us into His promises for His people, but we must be sure to heed the warning He gave yesterday in my Bible study: we must obey all of His commands and quickly repent when we fall short. Watch yesterday’s entire Bible study to understand why the confirmation in Joshua chapter 1 and revelation from verse 11 are so important today!
