Our Covenant with God
Our Covenant with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is found in its entirety only in the Holy Bible. Yet for believers (Messianic Jews and Christians) at our weekly worship services, we provide this covenant as an overview of God’s requirements of His people. It was received by Apostle Markita Smith from God for the edification of His people.

Covenant
Today and every day, we commit ourselves to a covenant love relationship with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We submit ourselves to His perfect will for His purpose and glory. We will be His people, and He will be our God.
WE ARE worshippers of the one and only true God in the form of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the head of every area of our lives.
WE ARE members of the Body of Messiah: redeemed by His sacrifice, carrying our own crosses and following Him as His disciples.
WE ARE consecrated to the Lord our God:
• dedicated to the fulfillment of His will and purpose,
• cleansed regularly of all that would defile us, and
• set apart from the world and worldliness.
WE WILL be careful to follow all of the commands of the Lord as detailed in His Word and as we receive them individually and collectively from the Voice and Spirit of God.
WE WILL walk circumspectly in the world, in all of our dealings, as ambassadors for the Kingdom of God and as beacons of light for others.
WE WILL NOT worship any person, being or thing in heaven or on the earth besides the Lord our God.
WE WILL NOT make covenants that are contrary to our covenant with God.
Contrary covenants come in three forms:
• covenants with spirits (including fear, pride, lust, falsehood, folly, sloth, greed, wrath, alcohol, drugs and others),
• covenants with our flesh to feed it and serve it, and
• covenants with people who do not serve the Lord our God (such as friendship covenants, marriage covenants and business covenants).
We will serve the Lord with wholehearted devotion and willing minds, for He searches every heart and knows every motive. We bind ourselves to God through our covenant with Him, accepting His love and returning it faithfully.
