Elected Officials and Nation
Heavenly Father, we lift up our elected officials and our nation to you. We believe that the heart of the king is in your hand and you guide it like a watercourse wherever you please (Prov. 21:1). So, we lift up to you President Barack Obama and every other elected official in the United States, whether on the federal, state or local level. Draw them to seek your face, and send your Holy Spirit to reveal the truth to them about you and the political and spiritual realms, so that the Spirit can remind them to call out to you during times of prosperity as well as times of hardship. Surround them with Godly holy fear of you and teach them the difference between your will and the will of man. As they submit to you, fill them with a spirit of sonship and every fruit of the Spirit. Minister healing and shalom to their souls and physical bodies as well. Let our leaders not be led by emotion but by your Spirit. Holy Spirit, we invite you into our political system. Bridge the great divide between political parties, so that your will is done. We ask also that you reveal and confuse every attack and tactic of the enemy in our political system. Thwart the enemy’s plans and scatter his camp in seven directions. Insure that the truth is revealed and your justice prevails always. Remove everything that is positioned to withhold, taint or add to the truth. We believe that whatever occurs, you are still in control! We exalt you and submit to your will, this day and every day to follow. In the Name of Yeshua (Jesus), we pray. Amen.
US Armed Forces
Pray with us for the men and women of the United States Armed Forces serving all over the world in the power of our prayers over these warriors and them at “Laboring in the Lord” on Labor Day, 2007.
The Peace of Jerusalem
We stand with Eagles’ Wings Ministries and hundreds of other ministries worldwide in praying for the peace of Jerusalem. We encourage you and your church to continually pray for Jerusalem and all Isra’el, as our spiritual condition is always revealed in the physical condition of the nation of Isra’el. God revealed even more about this connection on our mission trips to Israel.
Unity Among Believers
Through prayer, Bible study and sincere fellowship, God has revealed specific prayer thrusts for segments of the Body of Believers. We must come together in preparation for the Messiah’s return. Let us pray as we did at our worship events Ecclesia 2009: Enter His Presence and Ecclesia 2011: Preparing the Bride for Her Bridegroom.
It is prophesied many places in Scripture that the division of Jerusalem will mark the Messiah’s return as He comes to protect the Holy City and defeat all forces joined against her. Many American Christians never dreamed that the United States would lead an effort to divide the Holy City, but our national leaders, throughout the past three administrations, have committed to dividing Jerusalem in “Land for Peace” efforts. Please pray for Isra’el as the US pressures Israeli leaders to give up more land for delusions of peace while Israeli citizens continue to suffer terrorism in the Holy Land.
“When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faith from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads because your redemption is drawing near.”
